1. This advocacy ad uses black and white coloring to convey and kind of sad image. This image is also juxtaposed and manipulated in the way that the background hints at a pregnant girl. I think this visual argument is effective, because it sort of says if you want your teenage girl to not become pregnant it would be a good idea for them to participate after school activities.
2. The argument this ad makes that if your kid, specifically teenage daughter; then it is very likely that they will become pregnant. It also states that to keep your kid from becoming getting pregnant then make sure they participate in after school activities.
3. This ad appeals to the values of people that would like their kids to be successful in life. The ad uses a pony-tailed white female teenager playing basketball, because this image portrays someone that has a future, and it would be heartbreaking to see them as a pregnant teen.
4. This could be a correlation because it could just be that the kind of kids that participate in after school activities are initially less likely to become pregnant.
